Spices of the Bible

The Bible mentions several spices that are easily accessible in today's modern markets. 

Cinnamon ( Cinnamomum verum) comes from the bark of a small evergreen tree native to Sri Lanka. There are several different types of Cinnamon that are grown and for their distinctive flavors.

Cinnamon is mentioned in Proverbs 7:17
